Where to begin! We started searching for a doula when we learned the tremendous benefits of having a doula present during labor. Once we met her we knew instantly Lauren was the helpful, caring support person we were praying for. As soon as labor began Lauren was available and actively helping us step by step. She graciously gave us much needed direction, support, wisdom and guidance. We were extremely thankful for Lauren’s expertise as our labor ended up being a lengthy 47-hour journey. Lauren’s keen ability to affirm, attune, comfort and support brought us much needed strength to endure. Her experience, gentleness and confidence carried us through the lows while her enthusiasm and warm presence encouraged us in the highs. How grateful we are that Lauren was with us for the biggest day of our lives! If you ever decide to go sailing you want an experienced captain who understands the intricacies of the seas, especially if you run into a storm or two. How much more significant to have an experienced guide to support you as you bring a baby into the world! We recommend Lauren to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, supportive doula. We are grateful recipients of her expertise and definitely want her with us for baby number two!

Lauren and Dionne are amazing! My labor was fast and strong. Having our first home-birth, I wasn't sure what role or how big of a role doulas would have - but they were a huge part of it all! My midwife didn't live close by and by the time she arrived I was in transition. Lauren came as soon as I called her and when she got to our house I immediately went into hard, active labor. She walked through the door with her "bag of tricks" and immediately started working with me, we got into a good 'sync and then Dionne showed up soon after. It was wonderful having them both there during that hard labor because someone was ALWAYS by my side! Having doulas was also great because when my midwife and her assistant arrived, they were able to get everything set up right away while the doulas assisted me with my contractions. It was a beautiful birth experience and I felt very relaxed, safe, calm and in control with these wonderful women at my side. My husband and I are big doula advocates now, and we have been spreading the doula "love" all around! - Abbey

 I was in labor for over 24 hours from start to finish. Having support from Dionne and Lauren for my husband and I was a godsend. In weeks leading up to labor, we had several discussions about what to expect and asked a lot of “what if’s”. That really helped us prepare for the process. During labor, they broke down the medical jargon and explained what our options were every step of the way. They knew what our wishes were for the birth and helped us accept and appreciate the outcome. Having a calm reassuring voice experienced in the labor process from a personal and emotional prospective helped us progress through the obstacle course of labor and delivery.  Dionne and Lauren were really great and I am so happy my Midwife recommended we get a doula! Paul (my husband) was really grateful, too, for all the education and added support to all of us. I feel like I couldn't have done it without you and don't plan to go without a doula when we have more kids in the future! I will, and already have been, recommending you guys to everyone I know, having or thinking about having kids! - Monica
